Conditions of particular interest in addition to muskuloskeletal complaints include those related to: psychosomatic and chronic illness, pregnancy and fertility, all types of pain, drug addiction, digestive difficulties, maximizing sports performance, attention and hyperactivity in children or adults, and fatigue. For patients who are particularly sensitive, or children, Acupuncture of Weston employs special lasers, massage and other techniques that are painless.

Matthew believes in a patient-centered medical approach that is a health learning collaboration based on both scientific and natural methods. In fact, today, acupuncture and Oriental medicine is researched and used in the hospitals of many Asian countries side-by-side with orthodox medical methods such as pharmaceuticals and surgery.  Matthew is a member of Phi Beta Kappa and is fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese.
