Matthew believes in a patient-centered medical approach that is a health learning collaboration based on both scientific and natural methods. In fact, today, acupuncture and Oriental medicine is researched and used in the hospitals of many Asian countries side-by-side with orthodox medical methods such as pharmaceuticals and surgery.  Matthew is a member of Phi Beta Kappa and is fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese.
